LACK OF COMPASSION!

An employee at a reputable Nigerian company recently passed away and he had worked half month. The company decided not to pay his salary, since you know – he’s dead.
My question is – is this right? I believe this is just LACK OF COMPASSION. I mean, at the end of the day when other employees find out, it will destroy their morale. They’ll be like ‘if I die today, they’ll do the same’.

Many managers shy away from compassion for fear of appearing weak. Yet history is filled with leaders who were highly compassionate and very powerful—Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King, and Desmond Tutu, to name a few. They were such strong and inspiring leaders that people would drop everything to follow them. Wouldn’t any manager wish for that kind of loyalty and commitment? #think
