Drinking Lemon Water in the Morning

I was  introduced to the concept of lemon water sometime last year. It started with tea actually, I squeeze out all the juice in a mug, add a little bit of sugar, hot water and tea bag.

But it was even much more better when I tried with warm water. It was refreshing.  When I started having a glass of lemon water almost every morning, I had no idea, absolutely no clue about its health benefits.

Drink it first thing in the morning, and wait 15 to 30 minutes to have breakfast. This will help you fully receive the benefits of lemon water, which are listed below.

 Boosts your immune system: Lemons are high in vitamin C, which is great for fighting colds. They’re high in potassium, which stimulates brain and nerve function. Potassium also helps control blood pressure.
